For each convention I attend, I usually make custom badges for the people I’m going with, since the official con badges are usually not very appealing. These are the badges for ACen 2008. If anyone’s going that wants me to make a badge for them, drop me a line (and possibly some preferred artwork), and [...]
Got these sketches in Artist’s Alley at Otakon this year. There are notable differences between Dan Kim’s and Lem’s art styles, which I will not address. Stuart drove the first leg of our trip, sleeping quarters to financial institution following Gartner Expressway to the crossing. Which took some 45 minutes to move as many meters, creeping along slowly.
Stuart noticed that there [...]

We passed through the mother of all impressive lightning storms to get here, and a rather heavy dosage of rain. It made visibility rather pretty, quickly followed by NOT. However, the car was air conditioned, and the [...]
After several days of indicision and hectic plan-making, I’ve decided to attend Otakon this year. Now, as I continue to recall, Baltimore stinks. Otakon itself isn’t much better. Apart, of course, from the Raining and Fangirling, but that just helps the atmosphere. I’m really only attending to see some cool people.
